Stanza 1: America, motivated and inspired throughout History



Stanza 2: Victory and Tragedy throughout it's past, referring to struggles all the way from the Revolution to things like Hurricane Katrina to 9/11, and how we help each other in times of struggle, and stand up for ourselves and our friends in war or natural disaster.



Stanza 3: The division of politics as well as faith among the people of America. Democrats, Republicans, etc, division will only slow us down. Also, the amount of protest towards expressing faith in public, or even praying in ceremonies, memorials, or even sports games...it's pathetic that the 1st amendment has been defiled simply because non-conformists, bandwagons, and non-believers can't grow up and let us praise in peace, whilst they act like ignorant, hypocritical fools by shoving their views down OUR throats.



Stanza 4: The Economy, Wall Street, corruption in Business and Congress, and how it has ultimately crippled our great nation. We need leaders, not a bunch of greedy, horny, power hungry fools making feeble attempts at receiving attention. We need initiative, inspiration, leadership, courage, honor, commitment! We require a true leader that knows what her or she is doing. "Anarchy" is an ironic allusion to Democrats and Republicans. "Arms" refers to the controversy involving the 2nd Amendment, and how it is constantly toyed with.



Stanza 5: America used to stand for leadership and excellence, and now it is more for Sin and Debauchery. It's once great morals have rotted away, and are replaced with insignificant, worthless, pointless, degrading nonsense. All because we tend to forget any sense of humility unless we're back handed across the face.



Stanza 6: Hope in its highest and most classical form: We're gonna get through this, one way or another, together, united...We will become stronger, better, and smarter than ever before. Things happen for a reason, and these are happening to teach us to stay on our feet, and stand strong, without stumbling and staggering. Look to History, embrace knowledge in all its forms, and embrace the potential within each other tear down the walls of the modern American Struggle!





This poem is not meant ti start any sort of fighting or debates. Summed up, it is simply stating that something is terribly wrong with this country, yet we as its people take hardly any significant steps to change it...we have every bit of potential and power to change what is wrong into whats meant to be right.
