Let go, the chains I hold, that hold me back…
Let flow the passion from my heart, the heart that beats.
I, the one once in shambles,
A shell of a fool, now bright fool in love.
A love of the purest proportions,
To a heart built to rebuild my own...
Lost was I on the path to a companionship
in the treacherous sea of love,
Led on by sirens and astray by storms,
The creatures of the sea would once upon a time,
Snicker and sneer at the stumbling fool that was me...
In past tense I speak, for like Odysseus
I have found the love that I have so intrepidly sought out,
And now, like Dante, I have found paradise,
At the end of my heart's long journey.
No fiend or great presence could hope to interfere.
The hand to be held, the lips to be kissed,
The heart to be loved, the face to be missed,
If and when I am to journey outward...
Unto a world, where, dark and grim,
The leaves are crisped and sere...
Where sin has found a constant way up and out of Hell...
Out there, where daemons roam our humane plane of existence,
I will walk a invulnerable path of loyalty and faith,
As such a passionate love produces...
Out there, where sin rises like the heat of Hell,
I will tread amongst the inevitable, and prove wrong,
Those who oppose my heart's desire.
I question not the nature of my male status,
Nor my will to be tempted by temptation,
As the stories go of partners away from partners...
Only distance separates our hearts,
Yet the inanimate minds and souls are just as at peace with
A phenomenal love.
My intentions are all but impure,
as my inclinations are of the most honest nature.
I wish never to break the heart that loves me,
as my own is forever bound to all that breaks with it.
May the words that circle us like vultures be unheard,
for we are no carcass for them upon to feed...
We live with hearts that beat with the power of God's love,
and we love with the inclination of his will.
Once more and again,
I mention the pestilence of obstacles,
But now I emphasize the involvement of my fellow man to you
My love.
Though it is in our nature to be tempted,
Be not led on by the faults of fools that crowd around you,
For to them, vulnerability is the constant habitat
I have left you in, in my leave...
Though utmost trust is held in you by my love,
My blades will have no struggle in finding the bodies
that wish to subdue you in any opportunity.
My mind will not hesitate,
For justification is mine, and such a task
Would be a purifying protection...
Remain vigil, and hold fast in your faith and loyalty,
And all shall be well,
As long distance, and without flaw
is my end of the connection we have...
Rest assured, as my return will come like a thief in the night,
Swift and before you know it,
and pray I that soon, my home shall to be yours...
May time soar onward, and bring us great cause
and fortune in our love,
Though time will tease, and distance dismay,
Let go the burdens before you,
And let flow the passion between us...
