Literature Text

My wish is to see you once more,
To speak to you one last time,
Before I carry on as long I am needed.
I roam this world, the shell of ny former self.
Hollowed through and through by a loss too great.
This shell is hard and barren,
Full of hate and regret,
for and from whom I am unsure...

All I ask...All I wish...
A Familiar hand upon my shoulder.
A Familiar voice to comfort me...
A Familiar face for me to pray with...
A loss so great, has gone unanswered.
And each day I wither with its memories.
Yet no tears fall from these faithfully bitter eyes.
And Endless Thought brings me to my knees.

I can't help but think about it...Day in and Day out...
It has inspired, and brought me to lows
from which I cannot recover.
My pain does not show, and I move on,
I move on just as Life.
I move on, just as you have...
It's not that you're gone...
It's that you left without saying goodbye...

So, May my prayers bless your name...
May you think of me in the days to come...
May we meet in peace in the Gardens of Heaven.
For I know that I am not forsaken to this world.
I know that we will meet again someday, as if it never occured.
For we shall be exlated of our struggles in this world.
These words shall not be my last before that time.
But I'll see you soon enough old friend...
"It's not that you're gone...
It's that you left without saying goodbye..."
